YING WAH TRAVEL WEB TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Our agreement with you
Agreement between Ying Wah Travel (we) and Passenger (You) sets out what you are legally entitled to expect from us when you purchase travel services through us. Because we sell a variety of travel products, you should make sure you understand the terms and conditions that apply to your particular arrangements in addition to these general terms and conditions.
2. Your travel booking
When you make a booking, you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions. It is your responsibility to ensure that all of the details on your travel documents are correct and to bring to our attention any errors or discrepancies immediately. Your contract will either be with us or with another supplier of travel services and this will depend on the type of arrangements you book.
3. Delivery of Your Booking
E-tickets
All the flights booked with Ying Wah Travel are E-ticket. During the booking process, you will be given the choice of e-ticket or paper ticket. Please note that airlines have their own rules and regulations with regard to e-ticketing. Ying Wah Travel cannot be held responsible for non-compliance with these rules and regulations and strongly recommends that you check these details with your airline in advance of travel. Ying Wah Travel rely on the information that you provide as being accurate and therefore cannot be held responsible if your e-tickets does not arrive due to an incorrect address or an incorrect email address or your junk email settings. You must notify us immediately if you change your email address or contact telephone number. In addition, please check that the name on your passport matches the name on your ticket and/or booking confirmation.
4. Our responsibility for your arrangements
We have taken all reasonable care to make sure that all the services that make up the arrangements made by Ying Wah Travel are provided by efficient and reputable businesses. These businesses should follow the local and national laws and regulations of the country where they are provided. However, please be aware that overseas safety standards may be lower than in the UK. If we have arranged a Package and the contract we have with you is improperly performed by us or our suppliers we will pay you appropriate compensation it has affected the enjoyment of your travel arrangements.
5. If you change your booking
Where a change to your travel arrangements is permitted and possible, Ying Wah Travel service fees will apply in addition to any additional supplier charges. By confirming the booking, you are accepting the specific ticket conditions relating to your chosen fare. Please note that all reservation changes are subject to availability and the terms and conditions of the product purchased.
6. If you cancel your booking
If you cancel your arrangements, you may be entitled to a partial refund. In addition to the cancellation terms and conditions of your supplier(s), Ying Wah Travel administration fee maybe apply. Please refer to the specific conditions of the travel items selected. By confirming the booking, you are accepting the specific ticket conditions relating to your chosen fare. We need to receive from you notification of cancellation before any refund can be considered. Refunds will only be paid to you once we have received the funds back from the supplier(s).
If the reason for your cancellation is covered under the terms of your travel insurance policy, you may be able to reclaim your cancellation charges through your insurer.
7. Changes to or Cancellation of your Flight by Ying Wah Travel
Ying Wah Travel reserves the right to make changes to your Flight where such changes are occasioned by one of its Travel Suppliers, for instance an airline canceling a flight or route. We will notify you as soon as we can, if there is time before your departure. Your confirmation will show you the planned timings as of the date of the confirmation.
If you are notified of any Major Changes to your Flight after we have confirmed your booking but before you travel, you can either accept these new arrangements or cancel your Flight and receive a full refund from Ying Wah Travel.
Major Changes shall include: a change in your departure or arrival flight by more than 12 hours; a change in the length of your holiday; or a change in the airport you depart or arrive from (except where the airports are in the same cities), a change of accommodation to a lower standard or to a different resort, cancellation of a tour.
8. Important note - changes beyond our control
Ying Wah Travel will not be liable to you for any compensation if forced to cancel or make any changes to your Flight as a result of events outside our control and which neither Ying Wah Travel nor its Travel Suppliers could reasonably foresee. Events outside our control include: war; threats of war; terrorism; riots; civil unrest; natural and nuclear disasters; actual or potential weather conditions; health risks; industrial disputes; technical problems with transport; closed or congested airports; and any other similar events.
9. Payment
a) Full payment for all Flights is required before the ticket issue. Payment methods other than those stated on the Site will not be accepted and no responsibility is accepted for cash or cheques sent through the post.
b) Before payment is received in full, Ying Wah Travel is not obliged to issue any tickets, confirmations, vouchers, or other travel documents. However, you shall in all cases remain liable for payment of the amounts agreed for the travel products and services ordered. Ying Wah Travel is an IATA Ticketing Agent, your tickets for scheduled flights will be sent to you within 24 hours of payment being accepted.
Payment can be made by all major debit and credit cards as detailed on the Site. Ying Wah Travel reserves the right to charge you in addition for any handling fees we incur in relation to bookings made by credit card. You will be notified of the relevant charges at the time of booking. Ying Wah Travel reserves the right to pass on any charges relating to card charge backs. If your booking is being paid for with a third party credit card we may require written authorisation to be provided by the card-holder.
c) Ying Wah Travel or the Travel Supplier reserves the right only to deliver tickets, confirmations, e-vouchers or other travel documents to your credit card billing address when requested to do so by the credit card issuer.
Failure to supply the correct credit or debit card billing address information may result in the cancellation of your booking, delays to the issue of your tickets and may make the fare(s) subject to increase. Please ensure that the billing address details you give match those on your billing statement.
d) Further, in an effort to minimise the effects of credit card fraud, we reserve the right to carry out random checks, including checks of the electoral roll, and may request you to either fax or post to us proof of your address and a copy of the credit card and recent statement before issuing any tickets.
10. Passports, Visas, Health and Immigration Requirements
It is your responsibility to fulfil the passport, visa and other immigration requirements applicable to your itinerary. You should confirm these with the relevant High Commissions, embassies and/or consulates. We do not accept any responsibility in the case of you being unable to travel due to not complying with any such requirements. 11. Insurance
Travel insurance is a vital part of your arrangements. We strongly recommend that you have taken out adequate insurance for the duration of your journey. Travel insurance is a mandatory element of some travel arrangements. We can arrange travel insurance for you and can provide you with a quote and answer any queries you may have regarding the insurance we offer.
12. ATOL
Flights and packages include a flight are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority, except when tickets for scheduled flights are sent to you within 24 hours of payment being accepted or where your payment is made direct to airlines such as low cost flights. Our ATOL number is 10106. ATOL Protection extends primarily to customers who book and pay in the United Kingdom.
