    Darren Coates’ isn’t exactly original:

    tutorials/tutorials-effects/using-the-vanishing-point-filter-to-mock-up-a-business-card/

  • Matt

Many of those cards are fantastic examples of graphic design but may be impractical as actual business cards.

In my experience, clients want business card to have two main attributes, besides contact information of course:

    1. The ability to fit in a wallet

    2. Space on the back to write on

A lot of these examples would not fit in a wallet (at least, not without significant mangling) and cannot be written on (the plastic ones especially).

That said, they are beautiful little pieces of art and their creators should be commended for their great level of creativity.

  • Karen

You also repeat the Davide Gasperini card, although I have no idea which numbers they are.

Fantastic list! Not all are practical, and some would be incredibly difficult to put in a wallet or Rolodex, but they’re all fun.

  • Jerome

    Great collection, very creative.

this is a really nice list. saved some on my pc for reference

  • Nuno Fisteus

The “Another Bloomin’ Designer” card is the best. Very creative!

GREAT WORK! Is it weird this stuff turns me on? Kidding…

I’d love to have some of this work in my Flickr group for print design. I use this pool of creative-ness for articles and posts on my website. (groups/printedproof

    Great stuff!

Nice collection, they are all great!

  • Foundation Jobs

Wow! Nice job on the list! Cool collection!

  • dj

Interesting. Fun. Artsy. Waste of money? Adds to overhead, thus increasing costs to clients?

I think an unusually shaped biz card is more likely to get thrown out because they can’t be scanned electronically via standard equipment, they don’t fit in the wallet, or portfolio. Some of them looked like they weren’t environmentally friendly, either.

Still fun to look at though…

I used to collect business cards when I was a kid (and I still have my collection). I have a few that I thought we re really cool – wood, metal, etc. but these put my prized ones to shame. I am also in the candy industry now and have a bunch of cool cards from that industry – Maybe I should take pics and post them

Thanks for spotting that – I’ve replaced it with the lego business card suggested by Craig – truly awesome!

  • span>

Terrrrrifffic and inspirational. I can’t wait to get started on mine.

  • span>

Yo that first card up there is mine, you can check out the designers other work here:

    and her blog

Replaced with a new one, thanks.

  • span>

Just added this one instead of one that was repeated. Thanks again!

  • span>

Thanks, someone else spotted that, too. I went ahead and replaced it with another one.

    Great job Nathan, truly original

Divorce lawyer’s card is my favorite.

  • span>

Inspiring! I’ve been wanting to redesign and adding more of a branding message to ours. I love the cheeseburger one (because I’m hungry now…)!

  • span>

This is a fantastic collection and very inspiring to those needing to re-vamp an image. Thanks a bunch!

  • Marina

Cool collection. It is hard to pick a favorite one.

  • Suzi Orman

I hope mine turn out that good. Though my favourite business card was from encinitas surfboards as they kept changing them.

  • Nora Reed

I thoroughly enjoyed this collection. They are extremely creative business cards. I think that if your company has the extra budget to afford the creativity in marketing, it will definitely pay off in the end. Cards such as these can really leave lasting memories on consumers. Same as a great logo!

  • CandaceK

I love the lush seed packet, the bobby pin hairdresser, and the divorce lawyer.

  • span>

    Very cool.

  • Business Card – Bizcard

Very large set of business cards. This should be enough for those looking for inspiration before designing theirs.

  • span>

    Thank for you the feature.

Some fantastic cards here, love the Divorce Lawyer and Post-Marriage Counseling.

I’m looking for someone that can create a business card that can compete with these for my business. Can you recommend anyone? Feel free to contact me through my site.

  • Daan

I love how clever people are. Those cards, many of them at least, must cost a fortune. Some of them look like they’d be five dollars a piece.

  • span>

    Great collection.

I’ve seen this list a dozen times before, but each time it gets rehashed there are a few new surprises.

The dentist (tooth w/cavity) is simply brilliant!

  • nik

That was interesting. Where do you get all those pics from?

  • AaA

Many of these are not that creative.

  • Sarah
